200th anniversary recording of Haydn's Nelson Mass. The news of Nelson's victory at the Battle of the Nile in 1978 reached Vienna shortly after Haydn had completed this commission for one of the royal princesses. The same year saw the publication of the first ever symphonies in Russia, the work of the Bohemian composer at Catherine the Great's court who styled himself M. le Baron de Wanczura
